My dad is planting a cherry tree, and the new baby cherries have just started to grow! But all that's left is a stick with a nut connected to it! The birds keep eating them, and I want them to stop! Cherries are too good to waste (especially to birds). And that's not all. My dad also planted a pear tree, the really expensive kind. The tiny little fruits have also just started growing, and the squirrels are eating all of them! Please help me! I really want them to stop! Especially the birds! My dad was planting the trees for me as a birthday present because they're my favorite fruits!

You can get repellents to deter squirrels or buy collars to go around your trees..but the little critters can jump pretty high.,..so the collars will need to be placed strategically to not allow them to do this. I have a 40ft row of conifers in my garden which have been a squirrel home for several years. Unfortunately I must have these trees cut down. I am really worried about having to evict the squirrels. When do they have their young, would it be around now? What will happen to them all? Will they have to fight with other squirrels locally to find somewhere new to nest? OK, I know they're only squirrels, but they've never done me any harm and I do worry about the little guys. Please advise!Cutting down trees with squirrels nesting?

They DON'Tdepend on them, ultimately, but sometimes the squirrels will get nuts out of the tree and then drop them on the ground, losing them by accident.. The nuts may then grow into new trees.

put out corn or crackers for them that should keep them on the ground for a little while
well u make a tiny tree, or ya put the nuts on the ground or you even maybe squish the squirrels!
