Habits of Tree Squirrels?

I was taking a walk the other day and out in front of me ran a squirrel carrying a second squirrel in its mouth. It looked like the second squirrel was dead, but I'm not sure. Does anyone know what it was doing or why?Habits of Tree Squirrels?
Just moving day probably or fell out of the nest... Young squirrels will go limp when carried just like any other animal. Squirrels make nests in trees so they can fall out or sometimes the just feel like moving to another one once the current one gets messy. Don't worry they don't eat their young.Habits of Tree Squirrels?
It is too early to see baby squirrels. Occasionally gray squirrels will eat another animal. They routinely raid birds nest in the spring for eggs. Remember, they are rodents.
Was the other squirrel an infant or juvenile, or an adult?
maybe he died but his mom is in denial and doesnt wanna let go...animals do that....
