How does one keep squirrels from eating all the pecans from their tree?

offer them something they like better - like that Honey Nut Clusters cereal the squirells go nuts over that in the commercials. How does one keep squirrels from eating all the pecans from their tree?
Pellet gun.How does one keep squirrels from eating all the pecans from their tree?
Have you tried trying to place something over the tree trunk...like maybe a net with big holes and placing it around the treejust do something to where they cant get on the tree ...like a sabotage thing...where the squirrel can't get to the trunk and can't climb the tree of maybe placing foil..so that he cannot climb just slipp down...the tree trunk..but then again he has nails...but you have to do something rather than shoot them..or cut down the trees...don't do that...sorry I couldnt help more
They have funnel like barriers that fit around the truck of trees that keeps squirrels from climbing the trunks however if there is anything that the squirrels can jump from to get to the branches your out of luck.
CUT DOWN THE PECAN TREES
How good is your aim? Ka boom!
pop a cap in thier @sses
Napalm
like you said it's their tree ...leave them be

or put tabasco sauce on the nuts
Tie a dog out there.

Or shoot the little buggers and make some chili.
In some southern states the rednecks shoot them. It's just wrong.
We tried everything, the best for us was plastic snakes! hang them other the limbs, also if your trees are far apart wrap the trunk with a sheet metal collar and grease it, good luck
poison
Cut the tree down.
Eat the tree.
Try sprinkling cayenne pepper around the tree. Or get the scent of a natural predator such as wolf or coyote from a trappers supply house. I used tobasco sauce on my bird feeder to keep them out. If you use the scents or cayenne you will have to reapply after rains. Sheathing the tree trunks with slippery metal should work well. Have you tried hanging plastic owls in the trees? To me sqirrels are not ';cute';. They are extremly destructive, carry disease and have fleas and lice. Did you know that if weather conditions are good they can have 3 litters of babies a season? Good Luck!!!
