Hello Everyone i really need Your help , i found a 7 week tree squirrel and im taking care of him. this item the mazuri rodent block is hard to come by here is there any other alternative to this and can i give chicken bone to provide him with calcium. really appreciate your help..I found a 7 week tree squirrel...?
Feeding a 7 week old baby rodent block will kill it.

How did you arrive at an age of 7 weeks?

Immediately find a rehabber ! Call veterinarians and ask for the names of rehabbers and get that baby to one now.

A kind heart does not make up for know-how and experience.

Squirrels do not eat chicken or any other parts of chicken. Get a rehabber or watch that baby die because you thought you could raise it for a pet.I found a 7 week tree squirrel...?
Um your not suppost to touch a wild animal. You may have ruined this animals future. And how do you know this animal is 7 weeks old?
Contact a licensed wildlife rehabilitator. You can find one here:

Licensed wildlife rehabilitators have the specialized training to care for sick, injured and orphaned wild animals, and they have the required government licenses that allow them to keep the wild animals until they are healthy enough to be released. They also know how to handle orphaned baby animals in such a way that the animals do not become too tame. Otherwise, they will never survive when released back into the wild.

Do not take the animal to a vet - vets are for pets, and most vets do not have the expertise to care for wild animals; nor do most vets have the proper licenses that would allow them to keep a recuperating wild animal.

Do not attempt to care for this animal yourself - you do not have the proper training, nor the required government licenses.
you need to ring animal rescue, they will no what to do with the squirrel and will have a home ready to adopt the squirrel until its ready to be let out into the wild, please dont keep holdof it as if you dont no what your doing the squirrel may die.
