I know it wasn't a squirrel - it was around 11 pm. I'm in Georgia.Tonight I saw an animal similar to a squirrel climbing up a tree in my yard. Any idea what it might have been?
are you sure it was not a flying squirrel? they look funny and are nocturnal.

bird feeder anywhere near? flying squirrels are essentially fearless. you take great pictures of them if they are coming to feed. they also make a high one tone call, kinda like a long zeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.
