Are regular tree squirrels eatable?

all tree squirrels

BUT

they are Game animals and you need a license..Are regular tree squirrels eatable?
Never done it, but heard from those who claim to have. I am told they are very hard to skin. Also, keep in mind there is very little meat on a common tree squirrel. UNLESS you have an easy-to-access bird feeder. Are regular tree squirrels eatable?
Red or Fox squirrels and Gray squirrels are both very good to eat. The reds are bigger and easier to hit. The grays are small and very fast. There are many recipes for them and I like most of them. Bar-B-Que, fried, or made into a polenta sauce is good also.
Yes, of course. It's just a culture thing that people in most industrialized countries don't eat squirrels. And it's probably unlawful to kill squirrels in most countries.

Actually, any animal is edible, as long as it is not poisonous.

In some countries, mostly third-world countries, domesticated animals( cats, dogs, monkeys) are consumed. And even in modern societies, animals like snakes and alligators are prepared and eaten as delicacies.

So, Yes, squirrels are edible.
My cat has no trouble with them
Yes.
Yes they are edible but please remember they are in the Rodent family.
Yes, they are. Quite gamey tasting though.

Don't forget to get a license or you will be eating state food.
